Terms & Conditions

Bookings of all sizes must provide card details at the time of booking, bookings of 5 or less will not be charged ahead of their visit.

  Bookings of 6 and up will be required to pay a deposit of £10 per person as well as a pre order to secure their booking.

We require 48 hours notice for all cancellations.

Cancellations at shorter notice than 48 hours will be charged £10 per guest listed on the booking.

No shows on the day will be charged £10 per guest listed on the booking.

We do welcome dogs into our 'pub dining' area, please select this option when booking and note you intend to bring a dog along with you.

We do charge cakeage for any celebration cakes being bought in for ‘cut and serve’ within the premises.

Valentine’s day

Love is in the air at The Green Man, come and join us for Valentine’s Day this year. We are running a £60 per person Set Menu for two to share, the menus can be found on the page above. The sharing set menu is available all day on both Friday 13th and Saturday 14th, just give us a call once you make your booking as it is pre order only all alternatively book a table with us over the phone.

Mothers day

We are now taking bookings for Mothers Day this year, booking is only available via phone. We have a brunch service on Saturday 14th running from 10-12, lunch from 12:30-3, evening service from 5:30-8 and then a Sunday Roast Set Menu on Sunday 15th from 12-5.

You dont wanna miss out on this one so book as soon as to avoid disappointment!

Six Nations

Come join us for the six nations this year at The Green Man. We will be offering 2 pints of Guinness for £10 and our famous six nation sharing board which includes camembert, scotch bonnet jam, toasted sourdough, fries, our homemade sausage roll with apple & cider chutney, whitebait, tartare sauce and olives for just £30!

The tournament runs from 5th Feb till 14th March so make sure you come down for one of the games.

Weekly at the green man

THURSDAYS

Every Thursday from 7 we will be hosting an open mic night with a different host every week. So if you fancy a singalong make sure you come down! We will also be offering a la carte from 5:30-8:30 and our Wingman chicken wing sharing boards. You don’t want to miss out!

FRIDAYS

Due to a reshuffle of our opening times, we are now offering our famous Beer Battered Pollock on Fridays for just £15! This offer is only available on Fridays during our a la carte service times, 12-3 & 5:30-8:30.

SATURDAYs & Sundays

Every Saturday we offer our a la carte menu from 12-3 & 5:30-8:30 alongside weekly specials from our team in the kitchen. Whether its a catch up at lunch, date night, birthday meal The Green Man is the place to be on a Saturday!

On Sunday we serve our legendary roasts from 12-5, a choice of Sirloin of Beef, Rolled Leg of Lamb, Roast Pork or our Nut Roast Wellington. All served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roasted carrots, seasonal greens & gravy.

Saturday and Sunday are usually our bussiest day so booking is strongly recommended!

THE GREEN MAN team

Our brother and sister landlords, Candice and Ben have pubs in their blood. After growing up in a pub it’s probably no surprise that when the chance to own one of their own came up, they jumped at it. They want The Green Man to be a pub for the whole community, where you bring your kids, your dogs and Nan for some great pub grub and a few pints. We have a fabulous team here who await your arrival.

CANDICE

Whether it’s a crisp pint of lager after a long day at work or rich gravy on a Sunday roast - a pub is about comfort - it’s a home away from home where everyone is welcome. You might have seen my cooking on The Great British Bake Off but The Green Man is your chance to taste it.

BEN

We grew up in the pubs that Mum and Dad ran. We watched Dad pluck pheasants, skin rabbits and joint meat for Mum’s delicious pies. Now it’s our turn. I want The Green Man to be the sort of pub I remember. A place where you stop by for half, lose track of time and end up staying for dinner.
